Christina Leist ist deutsch-kanadische Kinderbuchillustratorin, die sich sowohl an Kanada’s Westküste, als auch im Allgäu heimisch fühlt. Nach zwanzig Jahren Leben in Kanada hat sie Ende 2025 ihr Lager bei Wangen aufgeschlagen.
Ihr Kommunikationsdesignstudium absolviert sie an der Hochschule RheinMain. Danach verbringt sie einige Jahre als Art-Direktorin in Werbeagenturen, Verlagen und Medienunternehmen. Als Illustratorin liebt sie es, farbig verspielte Leichtigkeit für Jung und Alt zu schaffen.

Christina Leist is a German-Canadian children’s book illustrator who calls Canada's West Coast and Southern Germany her home.
She holds a Bachelor Honours degree in Communications Design, has worked as an Art Director in advertising, publishing, and TV. Her passion as an illustrator is to create colourful quirkiness for youthful spirits.
